Dear Teachers, Seniors, and Friends,

Greetings from Team ISPAE 2022!

Wishing you all a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year! It gives me great pleasure to announce that the second issue of our journal, JPED is being released under the baton of a very dedicated editorial team which is an amalgamation of experienced and talented members headed by Dr. PSN Menon, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, and Dr. Rajni Sharma.

I congratulate our members whose original articles, case reports, and clinical images have been published in this issue. My sincere thanks to the invited experts who have provided editorials. I do hope that the trainee’s page and the journal scan will provide impetus to the young members of our society.

The past year witnessed another trying period for all of us in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I thank every one of you for your continued commitment and care toward the patients during this third wave of COVID-19 pandemic.

We from Team ISPAE-2022 hope to continue with our academic and awareness programs. We are pleased to share that our monthly “ISPAE-ACES” (Academic and Clinical Education Series) and quarterly “ISPAE-IDEAL” (ISPAE Diabetes Education and Learning) programs are successfully continuing with good participation of delegates.

We will soon be starting our new program, “ISPAE-BEST” (Basic Education Series for Type 1 Diabetes). This would be an educational series for parents and nurses to help them in better management of children with type 1 diabetes.
